Truck intercoolers can be adapted into cars but they will usualy be too
large and require that you cut and weld the tanks and core to get a suitable

BTW- I just yesterday purchased my first audi, an '87 4000cs quattro. I
recently moved to alaska and wanted an AWD car for winter driving, couldnt
stomache the thought of driving a older subaru so when I found my quattro
for sale, I snapped it up.
The PO replaced all the suspension bushings, and shocks around 20K ago
yet my initial impression of the 4000 I bought is that it handles kinda like
a boat, springs too soft and too much body roll. Any suggestions for cheap
(junkyard?) springs and swaybars to liven up the handeling?
