Oil Filter Study Page reprise

Some time ago I sent the message below.  At the same time I sent a request
to the author of the Oil Filter Study page if he would send an email copy to
me.  I just got a note from him that the page is back up.

All the facts are the same, but his opinions have been largely removed.
