I suspect the windows are totally unrelated (except for coincidence in
time and space) to your transmission work.

The circuit breaker is what I was going to accuse of failure, esp when
you mentioned heat.

Little silver can(s), about 3/4" square by 1/4" thick, should be a
couple mounted in the aux relay panel behind the left of the steering
wheel area.  Don't know if both are windows or just one, if the other is
the sunroof, etc., but once you find them you can test them out.

if they are good, an intermittent short in the wiring *may* be the
culprit, but since none of the the wiring to the doors has power unless
the switch is pressed, this is unlikely to be the source of your
headaches.
