re: Monterey on Speedvision




	actually, having attended monterey, and having a great
	time by the way, i was left with one question.  not
	just the sentiment of what did audi do after ww2,
	but what did they do *during* ww2?  what was auto 
	union's role in it all?  it was weird to see the 
	glorious 1937 footage, knowing (with th ebenefit of
	hindsight) what else was going on...

	that question i thought of a few times this weekend.
	theother thing... where the FUCK was michelle,
	at least a mention of her car and their early 80's 
	rally triumph.  they brought every *other* car, 
	the timelines in the displays in their big tent 
	started just after the rally days... well.  it was
	an annoyance on top of a pretty rad weekend.

	i'm off to burning man now, i'll read through the 
	digests when i get back.
