my car came with power steering disabled (dry!).  went several years
like that, seemed ok.

Those were 200's, etc, not cars like yours...

I think you may need a "front clip" welded on, or at least one side of
one, by someone who knows what they are doing. the url below kinda shows
what's left after you remove everything that unbolts.  there are others
on other people's sites, too.
