I know, bad choice of words; debris was sticking to them as i pulled them.

Hmm, maybe not Aluminium.. -Just somehow took it for granted that it was Al,
as its defenitley not magnetic, and looks like Al.
Furthermore it looks very much like the debris that would come from the
compressorblades (of my turbo) being ground down by a "hard foreign object".
