hot spot paranoia

RE: '89 100 2.3L

I recently replaced my radiator thermotime switch. After flushing the
remaining coolant, I accidently overfilled coolant system, by about 6 fl oz 
or approx. 220ml.

Could this result in hot spots, as there was no where for air to escape, as 
it normally would in the overflow tank?

I drove about 5 mi before I realized the bonehead mistake.

Potential problems or just paranoid?
