Regardless, when at heavy load, such as when passing on the freeway, running up a long hill in 5th, or brisk acceleration from a stop, the engine cuts out as if loosing spark, but will then run if I back off or downshift.
Cassidy, is it cutting out as in a simple "miss," or does the engine
stop running while driving? In either case, If you replace the fuel
filter, spark plug wires and plugs, you have a 95% chance of heading
this one off at the pass. Say "no" to the ECU, keep the Audi, and get
back on a maintenance plan. Vaughn
I am a poor graduate student living in rural Virginia and the local guy
wants to start by installing a new ecu!
