More Fender Removal

I've secured a straight, rustless but stripped '85 5k for $20 (having a tow
truck driver for a dad has its benefits). I plan on salvaging the hood and
right fender to replace the dimpled ones on my '87 5ksq, which the PO
neglected to replace before he bestowed a beautiful new black paint job on
the car (ugh). I carefully read the posts over the last few days on removing
the fender on a  4k, I'm just wondering if the procedure is basically the
same on a 5k.
