Manual Trany Swap - Catalyst Issues/After Market Exhaust

    Getting deeper into the fact checking and I have noticed the catalytic
converter needs to be changed along with the connecting pipe to the center
muffler.  I have been planning to remove the center muffler with a straight
pipe made by Supersprint.  Stock diameter but mandrel bent and no middle
silencer.  I would then want an aftermarket final muffler, again Supersprint
makes one for my 80, but if I use a sport muffler w/ a straight pipe it is
going to be very loud.  What other suggestions do you all have for an
exhaust system change.  Anyone remove the center muffler and added a sport
final muffler, noise level?
