Scrapyard fuses

Avid readers will remember that my local scrapyard has given me permission
to "steal" fuses.  I've stocked up, and now have a couple of pounds in
a plastic bag.

I decided in a moment of boredom to build a simple buzzer-type tester
by tie-wrapping the meter probes to a stick and touching each of the
fuses to them in turn.

Two of the 15 amp ones are blown.  I wonder if the owners ever knew what
wasn't working?
