My '87 5kCD Turbodiesel are also equipped with a K26. Unacceptable
turbo lag, but it got slightly better after I turned the wastegate
adjusting screw 3 full turns. (don't know what increase that is, but I
know it's not much and not dangerous.)

With the diesel's low power without turbo boost, it's almost
undriveable without boost. (about 70 hp) I can't believe Audi made a
5000 diesel without turbo.. But they did..
