be careful about calling your insurance company and giving them your name
when you ask about this. i would make any anomynous call (don't forget to
use caller i.d. blocking if necessary). a friend of mine once backed into my
passenger door. she called her insurance company to just ask about what
would happen if she made a claim. they then put an accident on her record
and jacked up her rates. for the next three years she had to pay "high risk"
insurance rates. i never did like her insurance carrier...
btw: just got a great deal on insurance via costco executive member program.
cut both my and my wife's insurance in half!! carrier they use is travelers.
