RE: Ticket help/None Audi content
In California you must be able to clear the intersection before the light
turns red. Recently the CHP sat at a busy intersection near my house and
ticketed commuters that entered the intersection even though traffic flow
had bogged down and they would not be able to clear the intersection before
the light changed to red. Some of these folks entered on a green light but
could not get through before the red. Sometime you may have to wait at a
green light until traffic flow will allow you to get completely through the
intersection.

I know that when I was in high school in centeral Washington
and your
butt was still in the
intersection when the light turned red that was illegal and
you could
get a ticket for it..
Also if your are in the left turn lane and proceed into the
intersection
and light turns red
on you before you get thru that is illegal. The reason
being is that
before proceeding into
the intersection you should make sure that it is clear so as
you can
make thru before the
light turns red.
