You can get a 82.5mm bore in any MC block without problems and in most, you 
can go even further to 83mm ... the stock headgasket is only good to 82.5mm 
though, so you'll need to either find an aftermarket one that's larger or 
live with a slight overlap into the cylinder.  (Mind you, this isn't 
necessarily bad because the squish band in the head will effectively cause 
the same overlap situation to occur even with a gasket that has a larger bore 
in it.)

An 82.5mm bore with a 95.5mm stroke crank works out to 2552cc; an 83mm bore 
will get you 2583cc ... not sure it's really worth it the extra grief for an 
extra 31cc of displacement.
