Ummm, you might want to check up on that one!  There was no such thing as an
S4 in 1987.  S4's were truly premuim cars and were '92 and on.  Doubt you'd
find one for $5500 and it would probably be in decent shape if it was a true
S4.  (They usually sell between $17K and $21K used).  My guess is you were
looking at a peal '87 5KTQ with S4 badges.

These are very nice cars, but be warned.  $5500 is a LOT to pay for an '87
5KTQ with that kind of milage, and the condition you describe makes it seem
like it may not be in "pristine" condition.  It's probably worth about
$3500, maybee less.  Check and see if it has any mods.  If it has S4 badges,
chances are it was owned by a real Q-head!  ;^)
