cq status and cars wanted

Briefly, it appears that the CQ will be declared a "total loss".
By Tues I will know what they are offering me for the car, and how much
I can buy the salvage back for.

1) If you are interested in the salvaged CQ, let me know. I will not have
a lot of time to mess with this at all, so I plan to quickly flip it to someone
and you can figure it out, leaving me with a modest profit (I hope) which I
will apply towards a replacement vehicle.

2) I am searching for a replacement vehicle. Top candidates are a new 99
A4 Avant - must be a 5speed, ideally it will have the sports package AND
sport seats. These are almost as hard to find as an S6 Avant, my next
choice. I will also consider nice S6 sedans with warranty remaining.

I may order a '00 A4 Avant equipped the way I want it, but the delay
of up to 2 months is a problem. As such, I may also consider cheap
"temporary" cars, such as a 4kq or 5kcsq, that I can drive for that
timeframe and sell without taking a hit, but that will be basically
bulletproof for a couple of months.

3) Yes, the chinese food made it home, and no, the manager didn't care.
He was very cool about everything - in fact, they shut down the registers,
put out whatever food they had available, along with coffee and hot chocolate,
all gratis.
