Hello i am new to the list and involved in making performance decisions for 
my friend
- Audi A4 1.8 TQ 1998
BBS 17 PILOTS 235/17ZR
Hoppen/MTM chip
Full Exhaust (from turbo back)
K&N air filter
 I figure right now about 215 at the engine

I would like to upgrade to a K04 
in the process also adding a front mount intercooler
here is the big question will the MTM chip i already have work with the k04 
and will it provide safe(detonation/ping free) and reliable use with gains in 
performance
will i need a new fuel pump/injectors? if so which brand?
will i need a new exhaust manifold? if so which brand?
what companies make the best k04/intercooler kits for the money
last question are there any cost effective "short cuts" i can take in this 
upgrade?
