RE: Throttle body modification

I don't know if that is not more of a counter-weight than a restrictor - it
certainly looks like it interferes with the flow with all it's screws poking
up like that.

Subject: Throttle body modification

I have a '91 Audi CQ.

There is a wedge like restrictor on the throttle body intake valve. This
certainly restricts the air flow at a certain throttle range.

What kind of improvement can I expect if I remove this piece?

What are the recomendations in going about removing this piece?

Thanks.

Chris
