Re: coupla MC motor questinons..



When I finally got around to putting my Schrick 268/272 cam in my 
Coupe GT, I replaced all the lifters, but did nothing else. (Besides a 
timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket.  I should have 
done the idler pulley, but I opted not to back then.)

I didn't have any problems, until I wrecked it.  I would replace the 
idler pulley next time.  Of course a rebuilt head would have been 
better, but I was just changing out the cam.  Tried to use the lifters 
as an excuse <g>.
