oil in the intercooler to intake manifold hose
I just changed the shocks on the 86 5K and it went so well I had some
time to check out some other things. One of the things I did was remove
the intercooler to intake manifold hose (the one with the metal rings)
to check it for cracks. Well I didn't find any cracks but I did find a
fairly heavy coating of engine oil inside the hose, the throttle body
and as far in the intercooler as I could feel. Now, what I would like
is someone to tell me " It's OK, perfectly normal" but something tells
me this isn't a good sign. Anybody come across this before?
