The I5 TD's a pretty sturdy engine, though, Much to my amazement, I saw one
in use as a taxi here last week. Weird, because a. Taxis are mostly Benzes
and Opel Omegas here and b. despite its out-of-sequence '93 registration
(done on purpose?) it was clearly a late-'80s type 44. It looked good, but
most people would call it a poor man's taxi. Unusual colour for a taxi and
a type 44, too- bright red.

Worn out shocks? Hm, could be a twin of my car...
