Well, it did on my car ... the overall width of the bar is the same but the 
arms are slightly shorter, which not only lengthens the wheelbase but 
increases the caster, both of which are good things for these cars.  You may 
want to have it aligned afterwards because these changes will affect both the 
camber and toe settings slightly...
