Gary,
RD Enterprises gave me the same attitude on an issue with my Bilsteins. When
I had them installed, my mechanic mentioned to me that the rear shocks did
not come with a dust sleeve like the OEM ones did (and the OEM sleeve was
too narrow to fit the Bilsteins). When I contacted Mark at RD Enterprises
about it, he basically gave me the "how the hell should I know or care since
I already have your $$$ attitude." I called Bilstein, and as in your case,
they were very helpful and had me an answer in 10 minutes (no dust sleeve
needed BTW). I guess just buy suspension components from RD Enterprises for
the good prices, but expect no help whatsoever from them after the sale.
