I chose not to do it on mine but I regularly work on Petes 4ktq.   If you
notice in the pictures in EC that the radiator is slanted.  This is why.
That is part of the reason for that aluminum contraption on the front of the
car.

Are you sure the Urq alternator is not on that side?

Dont know.  It works but custom hoses will be needed.

The k26 and k24 fittings are the same as far as i know.
