RE: Why Bolts



My guess would be that it's nearly impossible to mount a wheel which uses
nuts without damaging, at least slightly, the threads of the studs as you
slide it on.  While it really makes no difference, I can see where Audi
would want to avoid even that thread damage, hence the use of bolts.

I dont know, but I have to agree, its pretty dumb. However... if you use the
tool they provide for mounting the wheel, its really a breeze.  Thay little
black plastic threaded thing in your toolkit is for that and it makes life
pretty easy.
