Re: Why Bolts



I don't know what the "little black plastic thing" is (when you buy used
cars, you often don't get those kinds of bits in the tool kits--or even a
tool kit, for that matter), but I went to the hardware and bought a metric
bolt with the same thread as a wheel bolt and ground the head round to math
the shank of the bolt.  Then I hacksawed a slot in the end so I could
remove it with a screwdriver.  Makes reloading tires onto the hubs a
breeze, especially with alloy wheels, which even an old fart like me can
hoist around.
