Matt,

I believe on of those A6 2.7t's belongs to a friend's dad! They were
expecting it any day. I have yet to see any of them yet (well, I take that
back, they had all the 2000 models on display at Monterey), but I want to
get real up close and possibly drive one. Our dealership here (in Madison,
Wisconsin) unfortunately doesn't have much pull and can't get cars like that
as demos. :(

Have you heard about the S6??? It's going to have a 340hp V8! Same engine
as in the S8. Only difference supposedly is chip tuning and exhasut. So,
it will be easy to get a reliable 360+ hp from the S6!!!! :) It too has
the fender flares, rocker panels, and really sharp looking polished alloy
mirrors (ala Audi Avus!). Not to mention the totally awsome 17" Avus rims.
It looks hot! And, I don't normally like the A6. The 4.2L and the S6 are
definatley great looking cars.
