1990 Quattro coupe repairs under way.......
My 1990 Audi Quattro coupe is about to receive H&R Lowering Springs, Boge
Turbo Gas shocks/struts, 4 new strut bearings, bump stops, dust caps/covers
and ALIGNMENT! But I have questions for the list.
1.Does the car need a 4 wheel alignment and a front end alignment or just
the 4 wheel alignment?
2.Why did Audi make the distributor rotor non-removable (its glued on
right?)? When should it be replaced?
3.How difficult is it to replace the water pump on the coupe quattro?
4.Has anyone replaced the interior cabin air filter? How do you do it? Does
it help?
5.My stick shift bounces around while accelerating, but not when cruising at
highway speeds- what is the cause? Is it serious? How do you fix it- if it
is bad news?
I want my car to last as long as I do and want DETAILS. Please give me
everything and anything you'd like to contribute.
