If you're at the point of considering other options and are willing to
consider some minor fab work, there are quite a few good OEM calipers out
there that can be adapted to your car without too much work ... $300 should
buy you a pair of calipers from a late-model Nissan 300ZX or Mazda RX-7,
Infiniti Q45, Porsche 944 turbo, ad infinitum. Not as good as a pair of Big
Reds but with maybe another $200 for the machine work to adapt them to fit
and a fresh set of rotors, not too awful bad, either, and significantly
cheaper.

JG (who has two full sets of 944T calipers in the garage waiting to be
reassigned to another car from Germany...)
