Re: Nakamichi MB-75
Chris,
Thats dissapointing. nakamichi has always made great sounding
units with innovative designs but they have also had reliability problems
for as long as i can remember. I was hoping their newer units had gotten
better to kick off their re-entry into the US market but it seems that may
not be so. Time will tell though. Maybe they will get them worked out.

--------
A friend bought this unit earlier this summer.
It sounds great, but he had a lot of trouble with it. The first unit he
got skipped a lot, almost every little bump. (he has a stock VW golf
gti vr6). Frustrated, he sent that back (after having the installation
checked). He was frustrated because he expected better from a $800
piece of equipment.
The new one he got didn't skip as bad, but after 1 month a mechanism
inside of the unit failed, so he couldn't retrieve any of the CDs.
Frustrated again, he returned the unit. After 4 weeks, nakamichi
returned his CDs.
This time he just got his money back instead of exchanging the unit for
a different one.
Good luck!
