Nak tape decks were always consedered the best!  That was in the mid-80's
though, so not sure how thier newer stuff is, but if you want the best tape
decks around... get a Nakamichi.  The only thing that comes even close are
the older style Alpines with the HI-TAC heads.  That said, my uncle gave me
his old one (Alpine 7374) about 5 years ago.  Was broken but I got it fixed
and just found out today that it actually works!  Very impressive unit even
though it's 15 years old.  Might be putting it in the Quattro soon.

As for the new Nak in dash CD changer.  It looks like a neat unit and
superior buld quality.  I read a review on it in one of the car audio mags
and they were very impressed with it, but then again, that can't tell us
much for reliability.
