I don't mean to be cruel or sarcastic, but every single electrical
connection on the car.

At least, the ones concerned with engine management - undo connectors or
nuts/bolts and lightly wire brush, add some dielectric grease,
reassemble. ground on intake manifold, OXS wire, plugs at pressure
regulator (on front of fuel dist.), wires at front and back of coil,
temp sender on bottom of top radiator hose flange, WOT and idle switch
connection on throttle body, cold start injector connection and thermo
time switch (on back of head) connection. I'm sure I've forgotten a
couple, just do everything you can see under the hood...

So long as you don't break anything it won't hurt and it might help a
lot. I can start my car right up after pressure washing the engine
compartment (don't do this at home, kids) due to this sort of treatment.

PS, how many miles on that cap and rotor? I change them with the spark
plugs every 20k miles, which is a year for me.
