wet weather=hard start on 864Q. Wires new. Now what?

If it's rainy or wet & the motor is cold, she's very hard to start. Warm
motor = no problem, even if it's damp. Replaced wires but problem remains.
Dist cap was done less than two years ago & should be OK, but I did take it
off & inspect it. No visible cracks or anything. At suggestion of
mechanic, tried spritzing lots of water on coil connections & dist cap.
Motor continued to idle fine, but then again, motor was already warmed up
when did the water test which may have negated the effect. Any ideas or
suggestions?
