There are two options, either you place the engine at TDC in which you
have to be very carefull with the pressure or it will turn over, but the
valves won't drop in if you loose the seal or the pressure (only a little
ways till they are held up by the piston.
Or you do it at BDC in which you can use as much pressure as you
(reasonably) want.
Anywhere inbetween and you will be working with option #2
