Craig

Your Insurance company my not cover the windshield if the dealer does
the work. I have Farmers and they have set prices with the windshield
replacement companys on what Farmers pays them for the job. This may
be also the way your insurance company works.
Audi windshield are not the easiest to remove and replace correctly so
find a company that has done these before. Usually your insurance
company will have a list of companys they do bussiness with. Also make
sure you use Audi replacement glass or equal to it. The cheaper glass
on the market sells for alot cheaper and is prone to chipping from
rocks easier because it is thinner.

Hope this helps
