Lotsa Audi Questions

Hello all... lots of questions for ya.

1.  Audi 80:  making a "plasticky" grinding noise in first gear.  The
car has been very well maintained.  Suspect it may be the automatic
trans., but I can't feel anything.  It doesn't happen all the time, but
when it does occur, I hear it right before the car shifts into 2nd.  The
car has 96k on it and other than this grinding noise is in perfect
condition.  Thoughts?

2.  '89 Audi 100:  Radio turns off when I turn the volume down slowly,
and comes back on sometimes.  I'm assuming the wiring is loose. (???)

2.  '89 Audi 100:  Last night, the front passenger window quit working.
The window was half way down and I couldn't roll it up.  I could still
roll it down however.  The window is now all the way down and when I
press the driver control or passenger control switch down (for that
window) I can feel the window motor try to move the window down.  I get
nothing when I press the switch(es) up.  Suspect that the switch needs
to replaced.
