RE: Heat Cycling New Pads?
I am far from a track expert, but my .02 sense.
I would not suggest taking performance advice from that vendor again. The
RedBox's are well known as OEM replacement pads for street use, with the
advantage of less dust. Very organic compound, good cold stop, O.K. street
use, will fade quickly on the track(and street in my case). Sorry you had to
learn it that way. The Mintex race compound is rumored to be fair for the
track. I would pursue the brands you mentioned plus some Ferodo, Pagid
obviously. Wish I could give you some personal success story to help.
