Electrical help needed

Can anybody confirm the size of the cable that carries power to the fuse box
in my Ur-q? Its the one that is fixed to the clamping bolt of the +ve
battery connector. Judging by the condition of the cable at the ring I think
that I've found part of my electrical problem.
I've taken a count of the conductors (a number of times) and get a mean 235
strands. Figuring the strands at 0.3mm this gives me something just over
16mm.
