    That is up to you.  I am nothing more than a forwarder of these motors.
If you have the time and the money develop and gather the proper swapping
materials.  If you are interested in doing a swap I can get a motor at
discount for you, only if you would like to develop a kit that is.  Plus I
don't have access to kit materials at these low prices, only motors and
components for these specific motors.  I possibly have access to 2.7 BiTurbo
motors as well, K04 turbos as well.
    All the people interested in buying from me are doing the swap
themselves, no 4k owners as of yet, mostly VW owners.
    I can get you more info on the swap details for a 4k possibly.  The
engine mounts for an 80/90 TYP89 and a 4k are the same under my assumption.
I have a direct connection with the owner of a 1.8T 80 TYP89.  As I have
gathered from him, it is not cheap.  Although he wanted a clean look and the
power so he used a lot of new parts, costly.  Now if my assumption is
correct, one engine mount needs to be moved/altered/fabricated, and then the
engine mounts up.  Battery needs to be moved, and probably most of the
accessories.  Check http://www.audi80.com and look at the engine shots,
picture says a lot.
    If I can move enough of these motors along I will hopefully be able to
purchase a 1.8T 20v motor for my 80 TYP89.  That will take a fair amount of
motors, but it is possible, I hope.  Then the swap would only happen after I
got all the needed parts and had the money reserves to do it, a long time
from now!  So I'd love to get a 4k 1.8T in the US, why not yours?
