Hakkas vs Siped Generics
At the risk of beating a dead horse, I have a specific snowtire question
that I wanted to as the list... Has anyone compared studded Nokian
Hakkas 1's (whichever their studdable model is) and generic "old style"
snows with studs and siping.
I've used Hakkas 1's on my 5KTQW last year and they are amazing in ice
and not too deep snow. On other vehicles I have used studded old
fashion style snows with studs and siping, and they too have been pretty
good.
The old style ones seem like they may have an advantage of having a more
agressive edge tread pattern and better deep snow performance.
I'm curious if there are any BTDT's out in list-land who mayhave
compared these two tires on the same car (preferably on a Quattro).
TIA
