Are you running the correct FP relay for the turbo engines?
I don't know how you got the thing wired up, but for the KH and MC turbo
engines, the ECU controls both fuel and ignition, so the fuel pump
relay does not have an explcit wire to the ignition coil. The ECU itself
"knows" when there is spark so it can control the entire operation of
the FP relay. Looking at the Bentley for the 5KT, it shows that the
fuel pump relay has the following connections:
Contact Use
----- -------------------------
48/30 +12V main (track 30 of fuse/relay panel, always on)
52/87 To fuel pump via a 15A fuse (also to control pressure regulator
heater filament and cold start valve)
46/86 +12V switched (track 15 of fuse/relay panel, on when ignition is on)
47/T To ECU pin 21
50/31 To ground (track 31 of fuse/relay panel)
59/87A To decel fuel cutoff valve, frequency valve, wastegate solenoid
(contact 87A of ECU harness)
53 Unused on KH engine
51 Unused on KH engine
49 Unused on KH engine
The 46/86 and 47/1 contacts connect to the relay's coil, and is the
control signal. The 48/30 and 52/87 contacts are the relay "switch
contacts" which are closed together when the fuel pump is to be
activated. The 59/87A contact appears to be used only on 85 and later
cars. The 84 KH engine appears to have the freq valve and wastegate
solenoid wired to track 15 instead.
If your fuel pump runs as soon as you turn on the ignition, but the
engine is not running, it means that pin 47/T is getting connected
to ground rather than the control signal on the ECU. perhaps the ECU
is not properly wired itself.
