I pick off the insects by hand then clean the mark they made with a
tissue.  Grimy fingerprints come off nicely with Tom's of Maine
toothpaste.  Any other crud usually comes right off with chamois or tape
deck cleaning swabs in tight spaces.  A light buff with a lint-free
cotton towel and all is well for another drive around the block...
