Need info on 90q 20v

I just put a deposit on a 90 90q 20v, and am going back tomorrow to give 
the car a final exam. Can anyone tell me what things to look for that are 
typically worn? Everything appears to be in very good shape, though the 
underpan is pretty dirty with dripped oil. Also, a boot on the steering 
rack is torn; are these racks failure prone?

Thanks for any info; I'd be looking on the 20v.org site, but I can't get it 
to load.
