volunteers step forward

Once again, I am soliciting assistance from our community to help improve
our archives and non-existent FAQs.

If you know a good amount about a particular model/series of cars, and have
the time to help put something together, please let me know. All you need
is the ability to use a text editor, no fancy html skills are needed.

Also, if you do have those fancy html skills :), let me know.

Once I have a list of people, I will be putting together a subcommittee
of sorts to figure out how to approach this task, in the form of a private
mailing list.

If you can pitch in, let me know.

And for those who must be wondering "doesn't he have a new daughter to go
care for? where does he get the time?" - you're right. Which is precisely
why I want to get others involved and active, so I don't have to spend
time worrying about this.

Finally, I'm also looking for one or more people who meet the following
criteria:

- you check email on an almost hourly basis
- you have the time to spend about 5 minutes per hour, tops, on list
  stuff
- you read email using a program that allows you to "pipe" the message into
a program. Ideally you read mail using something like elm on a unix system
  (which is what I use).

All these are necessary for a replacement list approver. No, I'm not stepping
down from my duties - yet, but I'd like to find someone to take over the
process of approving bounced messages and wayward subscription requests.

Send me private email about these matters, please.

Thanks,
