I saw the most amazing '81 4k ever! - Katonah, NY

    I pulled in the gas station and as I was pulling aorund I noticed an
Audi.  Older for sure, early 4k model, don't see many of those around here.
Pulled ahead of him at the pump and this 4k was immaculate!  He had the
engine running and I couldn't hear him as he talked to me, bummer.  I did
get a look inside the car as I passed, amazingly perfect, two spoke wheel.
I did catch him say '81, figured that is the car's model year.
    I can't express how perfect this 18 year old Audi was, engine was
running smoothly, purring away.  4 square headlamps with black mesh guards,
large PIAA offroad lamps with chrome mesh above the bumper, also a extra
fogs down below.  Beautiful wheels, straight spoked of some sort.  Paint was
perfect arctic white, not a scratch or dent visible, tinted windows, 4k logo
and a 4E logo on the trunk.  Large exhaust tip poking out of the back made a
beautiful tune as he zoomed away from the gas station quite swiftly as to
show off.
    I nearly passed out when I really got to scope it closely, really wicked
car.  Never got a word in with the owner as I was pumping away.  Owner had
state police or correctional uniform on.  If this a lister, I applaud your
car to the tops!  All you 4k lovers, this was out of this world beautiful,
the word drool comes to mind.  I love seeing spanking new S4's or lovely
20v's, but there is something about an 18 year old car that looks better
than new that really gets my gawker going.  That guy really loves his Audi!
