The real problem here is not any of the systems delivering enough fuel at
a 14:1 air/ fuel ratio, but more like 12:1 for on boost demands. Any NA
CIS-E could support a turbo charged application, but it would do so thinking
the extra air being inducted was for a NA application since there is no
mapping for boost. But once 10 to 15 psi occur, that 14:1 ratio will be
insufficient to help retard detonation and keep combustion temps down (EGT).
That is where the boost input on the turbo ECU comes in, so it can compensate
for the differing fuel demads when on boost...
