RE: 4ktq conv. questions

Scott and anyone else who knows or has an opinion
In your reply to this in response to the Fuel Distributor
differences (which was very good BTw) you mentioned that the Warm up
regulator controlls pressure on top of the Fuel distributor Plunger. My
question is what does the WWarm up Regulator defaut to if it isn't hooked
up. I dont have it wired into my conversion project yet but the car runs
fine and I get an OXS voltage of about .7v at idle that fluctuates between
.4 and .8 when I hit the gas which seems normal to me. .7v is slightly
rich correct?
so, since this thing is disconnected, does the Fuel Dist behave
like the engine is warm?? so then, I'm runnnign lean when engine is
cold??
Is it safe to drive the car with this disconnected? I really need
my car back as I'm car less right now and since it runs and mixture seems
ok I'm tempted to drive it and deal with the Yellow harness issues later.
(Yellow harness includes Multi-func temp sensor, Warm up reg, and after
run equipment. Also, what exactly is the vacuum line going to the warm up
reg. for?? I guess I dont fully understand the function of this unit.
Just when I was learning the 4kq, I go and cnange the engine and
now the CIS is different as well. jeesh. :-)
Well, off to check out your page again. L8R
