Re: road trip stories (was worldwide search...)

Okay, I can't stand it any longer...Detroit to Tulsa, Ok and back in 1975,
Hi-cube van with Uhaul trailer in tow, in the winter in two days. Only
stops were for gas, unload the van and trailer, and pick up the Coors. Way
back was a sheet of ice and strong winds and all of the "professional" semi
drivers were in ditches everywhere. I drove 22 hrs including the sheet of
ice stretch and remember not being able to see the trailer on the pass side
and being able to read the 'uhaul' on the side plainly on the drivers side.
Young, foolish, invincible, and d*** lucky!
