You need at least the Euro Audi 80 16V Sport intake manifold. This is
not a model that was sold in North America so it's going to be a hard
piece to find. The Passat manifold won't work, because the throttle
body is pointing in the wrong direction. You will also likely lots of
other parts of the Euro 16V Audi.
I am also almost certain you need new pistons if you were to use
your original block. The 16V pistons have relieves cut into them
to clear the valves.

with their hoods off and *look carefully*, then compare that
to your own underhood arrangements.

You might find yourself deciding not to do it after all. What is
it going to get you after all that grief and expense? Probably 25hp?
